Hello there. A European team asks how SEPA bank transfers and the e-invoice beta fit with HubSpot's Stripe payments, a new Marketplace app pushes deals onto monday.com boards, and one admin explains why CRM cleanups keep coming undone. A calm Sunday to fix the rules behind your data.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • HubSpot invoices are not created in Stripe, so SEPA transfers to a Stripe virtual account likely will not mark them paid on their own.
  • A new monday.com Sync app sends HubSpot deals to a monday board at the stage you choose and keeps them updated.
  • Bad records come back when the imports, syncs and rep habits that created them stay untouched.

SHIPPED

🔄 Sync HubSpot deals to monday.com boards. StackTie, which also makes a Zendesk sync, now lists monday.com Sync in the HubSpot Marketplace. Deals land on your monday board at the stage you choose, then keep updating for the life of the deal, custom properties included. The pitch: your delivery team can follow the work in monday without anyone needing a paid HubSpot seat.

MONEY & OPS

🏦 SEPA bank transfers, Stripe and HubSpot's e-invoice beta. A European user notes the Stripe integration does not cover plain SEPA bank transfers and asked whether a Stripe virtual bank account could still mark HubSpot invoices as paid. A reply explains those virtual accounts only reconcile Stripe's own invoices, and HubSpot invoices are not created in Stripe, so expect to mark them paid by hand or automate that step. Whether the e-invoice beta needs Stripe is still open.

🧹 Why CRM cleanups keep coming back. One admin argues that most CRM cleanups come back not because the cleanup was sloppy, but because the routes that created the bad records were never touched. Records are only the symptom. The rules behind each field decide whether the next import, sync or rep action recreates the same fault, so fix those entry points before you bulk-edit anything again.

TOOLS & WORKFLOWS

🧭 Where should deal next steps live? A sales leader uses deal notes as a next steps field: if a rep has no fresh note between pipeline calls, they add one, which gives a time-stamped history. It works, but they are asking for best practice on next steps on the deal object and whether a dedicated property would serve better. A good prompt to look at how your own team records the next move.

📈 Property history reports across records, in pilot. A developer is building a third-party app for cross-record property history reporting on Pro plans, such as deals whose close date moved more than twice this quarter, or contacts that changed to a set value between two dates, filtered by owner, property and date, with CSV export. It is not released yet, and three pilot teams can test it free in a test portal.

GROW & CONVERT

📱 A request for separate mobile styling in marketing emails. An ideas forum post asks for a true desktop and mobile side by side in the marketing email editor, or a design tab for each. The visibility toggle swaps content, but the poster says formatting built for mobile is not applied, so mobile tests look bad. If your mobile emails suffer from the same thing, adding your vote helps the idea get noticed.

🎓 Certification exercise refuses to submit. Someone working through the Marketing Hub Software Certification says the Outline Your Next Campaign exercise will not submit. After following every instruction twice, it still reports the exercise as incomplete, and they want to know whether this is a common bug this year. If your team is certifying right now, keep an eye on the thread for a fix.
